The Meltdown Campaign is exposing the truth about the new spit-free and smoke-free products that target Virginia’s youth. Just because these are new products doesn’t mean they are safe products.

To promote awareness and prevent Virginia’s youth from being targeted, the Meltdown Campaign is:

  • Collecting surveys to assess if the new tobacco products are more appealing to youth because of their flavors, packaging, and advertising 
  • Fighting against advertising of the new products in magazines with high youth readership, such as People, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, and Sports Illustrated.
